You ask, we answer.

How much does a telemedicine appointment cost?

This varies, your telemedicine appointment may be free or inexpensive if you have health insurance. However, some insurance does not cover all sexual and reproductive health services. The staff at Centro Medico Aragon is working hard to provide you with the services you need, whether or not you have health insurance. When you contact us to book your telemedicine appointment, you will receive specific cost information.

What services can I receive through telemedicine?

Telemedicine services vary from center to center, but you may be able to receive services such as contraception, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, and emergency contraceptive (next day’s pill). Counseling and education services may also be available. We have a wide range of gynecology, urology and general medicine services also available.

Can my appointment be in my language?

We are working hard to provide telemedicine services in each person’s native language. In the meantime, please contact us to find out about the availability of services in your language.

Will my telemedicine appointment be private?

Yes. Just like when you visit our center for in-person medical care, your telemedicine appointment will be private. Make sure you have a quiet, private and well-lit space ready for your telemedicine appointment.

Can I access abortion services through telemedicine?

You may be able to make most of the telemedicine visit. If this is the case, during your telemedicine appointment, your doctor or nurse will give you all the information you need to use the abortion pill at home. Then you’ll go to the clinic for the ultrasound and pick up the medications you need. Drug abortion can be performed up to 9 weeks gestation.
