Pregnancy test
Aragon Medical Center offers FREE pregnancy tests during the consultation.
Reliable test kits are also available at the pharmacy.
It is important to remember that the result will not be reliable until about 3 weeks after you have had unprotected sex or after the scheduled date for your period. If in doubt repeat the test, contact our advice line.
Drug abortion
Drug abortion (the abortion pill) is available as a private service up to 9 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
The cost of an initial consultation (in person or by phone) is 70 euros and the price of the treatment is 300 euros (total cost of 370 euros).
Surgical abortion
Surgical abortion is available up to 22 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
The cost of an initial consultation (face-to-face or telephone) is 70 euros. The cost of a surgical abortion will depend on how many weeks you have of pregnancy and your anesthesia option.

Abortion aftertreatment service
Our abortion aftertreatment service is available for free if you have received treatment at Aragon Medical Center.
If you feel you have problems after an abortion, whether you’ve been treated with CMA or not, it’s important to seek help, either by contacting us or your family doctor.
Can I have an abortion for SNS Social Security?
Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy (IVE) is a legal health benefit, recognized by and funded by the National Health System (SNS). Most people can have free abortions: 90 % d and Aragon Medical Center abortions are funded by the SNS.
